There are a few simple things you can do to maximise your chance of success through our service. See the following as instructions rather than guidelines. If you don't follow these instructions you will be hampering your search!

1. Create your own sitter wanted listing. This is the most effective way to catch the attention of the widest range of house sitting candidates.
2. Write a very informative 200 words describing your house sitting assignment. While staying completely honest, sell the benefits of your home and location to potential house sitters.
3. Search both of our databases and send your well-written message to as many house sitters you think are suitable.
4. Save the listing of every house sitter who responds to you to your online Shortlist for future reference.
5. Don't say no to anyone until your first choice of house sitters have all but arrived at your place.
6. Be completely upfront with your house sitters from the outset about how you would like the assignment to go.
7. If possible, meet your most promising house sitting candidates before making your final decision.
8. Use our house sitting agreement with your house sitters to spell out everyone's rights and obligations during the assignment.
