About this sitter

Recently retired (from one of the top 10 hospitals in the US) RN . Young thinking and acting. I exercise regularly and am energetic. I pride myself in being neat and clean ( both personally and in caring for your home ).
I am honest and will do as you ask in caring for your home and pets. I love all animals but have no experience with horses. I have taken care of cats, dogs, birds, small animals ( gerbils, hamsters, chinchillas).
I will garden and cut your grass if you ask ( it's good exercise too).
I will keep in contact with you while you are away, even emailing or texting pictures as you desire. In short, you will have no worries while you are away.
As a nurse I am a natural, kind, empathetic caregiver.

Why they want to house sit

I enjoy meeting new people of all nationalities and ethnicities. I make friends easily
& look forward to expanding my knowledge of the world including different cultures and their people.
I love animals and look forward to caring for the loved pets that you entrust in my care. I have had pets all my life and I certainly realize how precious & important they become to you & your family.
This is the first time in my adult life that I have been really free to travel. Between caring for a sibling in my teenage years to my own babies/children, to my patients to my elderly mother-in-law and my own dear mother.

Their experience

I am experienced and have gotten excellent references each and every time. I have house sat in very different geographic and types of homes....from inner city, to suburbia, to desert mountains. I have loved them all.

What can they bring to the assignment

I bring to my assignments first of all "common sense", the ability to think and make decisions on my own. I also can follow directions with attention to detail. I bring empathy, understanding and caring. Many of these qualities have been developed through my 32 years as a nurse. However, some things cannot be taught (common-sense). Overall, you will find me to be a good person.
