About this sitter
We are a caring, mature, healthy, active couple and both non smokers. I am a retired primary school teacher and my husband is a retired project manager. We are both animal-lovers having grown up with dogs and cats since childhood. Full clean driver licences. We speak English, French, plus some Turkish and learning Spanish. We love hiking, swimming, cycling, kayaking, yoga, reading, gardening and art.
Why they want to house sit
We took early retirement to set off on travel adventures and we ADORE animals. House sitting provides a wonderful opportunity to combine both these passions.
Their experience
We have over 17 years house/pet sitting experience in both rural and urban environments including UK, Europe, USA, Middle East, SE Asia..... We have cared for dogs, cats, chickens, goats, sheep, horses, donkeys, geckos, fish, hamsters and more. We have experience of administering medication to pets, as well as a loving sensitivity to animals with separation anxiety.
We have been home owners for over 30 years and have owned/run a holiday property. So we appreciate what is required to look after and respect your home and/or holiday property whether it is situated in a town or the remote countryside. We have experience of running a small holding, organic gardening, orchard, operating manual and sit-on mowers. We have experience of off-grid properties supporting sustainability which includes, solar energy, water well pumps, rain water pools, etc. Therefore, as well as house/pet care, we can also carry out a wide variety of gardening, small-holding and land maintenance duties for you as required. We also have numerous practical skills to offer, including pool care. References and Police Check will be provided on request.
What can they bring to the assignment
Peace of mind. We have used house / pet sitters ourselves to look after our home and pets when we travel. So we appreciate how important it is to be able to leave one's home and pets in capable, trustworthy and genuinely caring hands. We will provide you with just that, as our references will confirm. During housesits we always adapt to the pet's routine thus providing continuity and reassurance for your pets while you're away. Plus we get as much enjoyment from cuddling and playing with them as they do!
We are clean, tidy and security conscious. We are very happy to provide you with regular updates/photos whilst you are away.

Great house+pets sitter
Teresa and David arrived at at our place on the day we left to get all the information they needed to look after our two cats and our flat. They have kept in contact on a daily basis with pics and videos of our cats. Our cats looked very comfortable and they became friends easily. our cats also received a present for Christmas. The flat was left tidy and they looked after our plants too. we highly recommend Teresa and David and we hope they can look after our pets again in the near future.

Rock Star House/Pet Sitters
Teresa snd David were wonderful and lovely, both as people but also in the dedication to their responsibility for the animals, the plants and the care of the house. They left the house spotless as they found it, the plants were thriving, the patios swept clean and most importantly, i found healthy, happy dogs upon returning. Their communication was stellar and they kept me updated with wonderful photos of the dogs. Additionally they were conscientious about water conservation and utility expenses. I call them ‘The Dream Team’ of house, plant and petsitters. Do not hesitate to invite them to care for your house and animals! I recommend them 100%. Thank you David and Teresa!

Teresa and Dave were great They fitted our required profile to a tee and consequently the sit went very well. The attached to our three dogs within minutes and on a social night out before we left we got along very easily. They quickly picked up on the needs of our pets and the necessary functions to make our house operate . The house and gardens were just as we left them along with a little gift left on the kitchen bench for us. They reciprocated in making sure the necessities were there for us on our return from holiday. Excellent House/dogsitters
Teresa and David housesat for me for 2 weeks this summer. They were well organised and efficient and very pleasant company, as they got used to my 2 dogs. They used my car during their stay, with a ramp for my elderly collie, whose health and demeanor actually improved under their care. My young terrier who was not a fan of men prior to their stay, has settled and became best buddies with David. They were in frequent contact with me by email, sending me updates and photos. They took excellent care of my house, car and dogs. I recommend them highly.

Great sitters!
Teresa and David cared for my dog and cat for 7 days. They were my first (ever) sitters and it was such a great experience! They took good care of my grumpy dog which was a worry to me in the beginning. They are very experienced in caring for dogs and cats and knew how to handle her. They regularly updated me with pictures and messages. It really made my vacation pleasurable, knowing I didn't have to worry about my dog and cat. Thank you both for taking care of Irisi and Squinty! It was real pleasure to have you in my home. I can only hope any future sitters I have would be comparable to you!!

A wonderful experience!!!
Teresa and David cared for my two chihuahas for 9 days and it was a great experience for the dogs and for me knowing how well taken care of they were. They sent photos of the dogs interacting with them and were in contact with me on a daily basis. Even before I left, David assisted with fixing my printer and Wi-Fi.... The real surprise was when I returned home late at night and Teresa and David were asleep and the dogs ran to the door to greet me and the one dog who is very attached to me, chose to sleep in their room!!! I was so pleased that my pets were so happy and the house was in such good order upon my return. Thank you both for adding so much comfort and pleasure to my vacation. Reliable housesitters
Teresa and David looked after our home and 2 cats for 1.5 weeks. They shared updates and pics regularly which was reassuring as it was our first time using house sitters. They consistently followed the routine including the delicate task of cleaning eyes which was appreciated. I would recommend them as house sitters and would use them again

Great sitters!
Theresa and David looked after our house and crazy dog for 2 weeks. They reported regularly and left the house in perfect condition. They even mowed the lawn. The only problem is the dog misses them a lot! I have no hesitation in recommending them as perfect house and dog sitters.

Great Housesitters
Teresa and David were our first housesitters for the month of August 2018. We asked them to look after her house, two dogs, one cat and chickens. They arrived early so the handover period was very useful. They put our mind totally at ease and we were confident that our house and animals would be very well looked after. They are very experienced so all the necessary information was shared to enable them to be at home in our home. We received regular updates and photos during our trip and this was very reassuring. The house and animals were very well cared for and I would thoroughly recommend them as sitters. They are very friendly, caring and nice people and are the perfect house sitters.
