About this assignment

Hello; i am looking for a caring person or couple to take care of my 6 cats, two tortoises and 6 chickens and my house/garden from January 2013. I 'm looking for cat lovers who will spoil them whilst i am away and someone that will enjoy a relaxing stay in the French countryside.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Care of 6 beautiful Maine Coon cats, two tortioses and 6 chickens and keeping garden under control (cutting the grass on a ride-on mower and some weed control)!!

What are the good features of the property and location

The house is a new property, with three large bedrooms and over an acre of garden, sunny terrace and beautiful views. It is located in a quiet village in the Vosges du Nord, surrounded by forest yet only a short drive away from good facilities. It is also not far from the German border so is an ideal base for touring both Northern France, the Alsace and Champagne areas and both the Rhine and Mosel valley.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Some French would be useful though there would be local friends would could give support if needed. A car/transport may be necessary as the nearest shops are 2kms away
