About this assignment

We are a retired, professional couple and live close to the beach in Goring by Sea, West Sussex with our two 6 year old Persian cats (Myrtle & Minnie) and 18 month old old Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Lulu).

We are looking for a first class, mature and experienced housesitter (preferably a single lady) to look after our beloved pets and home while we are away.

References are required and if you don't reside permanently in the United Kingdom please do not respond to this listing.

We are looking for someone to housesit for 2/3 weeks at a time and also for single nights and long weekends - in the case of the latter it must be someone who lives nearby

Currently, we are suited for our main holiday in 2013 but welcome enquiries for short stays and 2014. 

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Absolutely fastidious care for our home and beloved pets. Daily walking and grooming of our dog. Watering of plants and dealing with wheelie bins. We prefer to have regular communication with our sitters during our absence and so emailing facilities are essential.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in a very comfortable, modern four-bedroom detached house, 500 yards from the beach and greensward.

Within 4/6 mins walking distance of local shops, library and post office.
Worthing town centre is 1 mile away, Brighton 14 miles and Chichester is 20 miles distant.
