About this assignment

I'm looking for a mature, responsible house sitter (or couple) who adores cats. Unfortunately I might have to go to a specialised clinic in February (or March?) for some time because I suffer from severe depression. I think this intensive treatment would be good for me but I'm very worried about my cats - they mean the world to me.
What makes it difficult to find a house sitter is that the doctors want me to go home at the weekends (Saturday and Sunday) to practise the skills I have learnt/to practise functioning on my own etc.... My ideal sitter would be someone who likes to be free at the weekend and travel. I think I could find him/her another place where he/she could stay at the weekend. I know this sounds kind of complicated, I'm sorry.
My ideal sitter would be someone who could look after my cats for a minimum of two weeks, maybe even three or four weeks (or maybe even longer). If you think this assignment could suit you, you would make me very happy.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

My four cats (they go outside) are very important to me. The responsibilites are looking after my cats and giving them lots of tender care, collecting the mail and watering a few plants.

What are the good features of the property and location

Nice, modern flat, 2 bedrooms, garden with lots of plants and some vegetables. The ara is great to go walking (hilly, beautiful scenery). You can make trips to the mountains, to Zurich, Rapperswil (which has a nice old town), to the lakes nearby etc...

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

A car makes it easier to get around in the countryside, but public transport is quite good in Switzerland.
