About this assignment

My husband and I are looking for someone honest and responsible who can take care of the dogs and otherwise enjoy everything Miami Beach and surrounding areas have to offer. References are a huge plus.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

All that really needs to be done is to walk and feed two small (20 lbs) Cocker Spaniels. One has a bad back and needs to be carried down the stairs. They're well behaved, sweet dogs.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our apartment is located in a lovely Art Deco building in the heart of residential South Beach. The beach is about 5 blocks away, as are the restaurants, Ocean Drive and Lincoln Rd. Our pocket of South Beach is quiet. We live across from Flamingo Park, which has tennis courts, a swimming pool, kids playground, basketball courts, racketball courts, and fields. We have almost all the sports equipment you might need.

Our apartment has one bedroom and one bathroom. There is Wi-Fi, but no TV. The apartment is about 735 sq ft. We are dancers, so our living room area is mostly open space, and our couch, chair and coffee table are in the kitchen/dining area. We don't have a dining table.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We usually go away for the weekend, Friday night to Sunday night. You should just ask if you have a particular weekend in mind to come to Miami Beach.
