We are Tony and Jane retirees living in Wales

About this sitter

We are a retired couple, I (Tony Crew) have a military background in Intelligence and on leaving the Army we returned to Wales where I ran my own business building bespoke kitchens and quality garden furniture while my wife catered for a local businessman cooking and preparing board room lunches for visiting businessmen and clients. We eventually decided to semi retire .We worked as a couple managing large houses in the Uk and in Monte Carlo. We have also worked for the Royal Family on the Sandringham Estate so can provide impeccable references and security clearances. We managed a small holiday letting business in France and latterly a large estate and Chateau in Normandie for a Russian businessman and his family which was to be fully renovated, we were heavily involved with local artisans, architects and employment agencies etc.
Apart from working in France we travelled extensively in the country and have many friends there. My son also lives in France and has a small building business near Limoges. I am a good french speaker In addition ,we would appreciate a contribution towards travel costs for U.K. long distance destinations ..

Why they want to house sit

We enjoy meeting people and the French life style and visiting different parts of France We are complete Francophiles having travelled in France for at least 30 years we are currently looking for a house sit for September .

Their experience

As I have stated we are experienced in all aspects of house management and maintenance and have had dogs and cats of our own and the responsibility for our employer's pets, a dog who unbelievably was driven overland from Moscow to France for the holidays.

What can they bring to the assignment

A wealth of experience, common sense, security and peace of mind for the home owners .We are currently looking for a house sits between 21 July and 1 October We also completed a 2 week house sit last summer looking after 2 spaniels a cat and one pony, reference available and last summer in the Charente caring for 2?retrievers 3 cats and some chickens who were escape artists Reference on our profile ,???? we have also completed house sits with another well known house sit agency…we also say for Martin and Jane the following year .
