About this sitter

Hello, we are Paul and Janis and we understand the importance of having trusted house sitters in your home while you travel. When you are away, you want to relax knowing that your home is secure and that your animals are lovingly cared for. It’s all about comfort and peace-of-mind, and we want to provide that for you.

We are from Southern California, in our early 60s, both non-smokers, have no dependents, and no pets. Because we are retired, we are very flexible and willing and able to travel to your location to take care of your beloved pets and cherished possessions.

Why they want to house sit

Housesitting gives us the opportunity to see other parts of the world while providing home care and ensuring beloved pets are happy and comfortable in their own environment. We don’t currently have any animals, so we relish the opportunity to cuddle, walk, play with, and provide love and attention to the pets we care for.

What can they bring to the assignment

We have been homeowners for over 40 years, and owned, managed, and maintained rental properties for 25 years. We understand the importance of taking good care of a home and ensuring that everything is well-maintained and running smoothly.

We both had professional careers (Paul was a mechanical engineer, and Janis was a marketing professional) before we retired. We are quiet and respectful, and know the importance of regular communication. You will be comfortable knowing that, even though you are away, you won’t be out-of-touch.
