About this sitter
I’m so happy to be part of this community! Years ago, I was asked by a friend to sit for her cute dog, and that’s was the beginning of my life! love animals, particularly cats, dogs, and birds.
I enjoy traveling. While in BC Canada from a housesit invite that rolled into a year or so. Really gave me an opportunity. I retired from Wellness, and continue doing Yoga. I travelled to Mexico, Europe visiting Ramstein, Jandelsbrun, Passau, in Germany, Greece, Catania, Sicily, Kona, Hawaii, Nice, France, and the Caribbean.
I own a reliable Car. I prefer to cook meals at home mostly. :). I prefer the day hours, and after activity just like to rest, do art, or watch a good movie.
Please know that my main focus is on your fur babies, and caring for your home while you are away.

Why they want to house sit
I want to house sit because I would also like to have a pet, however traveling means they would have to be quarantined. I am entertained by their personalities.I’m inspired by their playfulness, and the beauty of Nature.
Their experience
I had a Water Spaniel, German Shepherds, Dobermans, a miniature Poodle, 2 cats, orange Tabby cat, a Black and White, and a parrot. I appreciate specific details of care needed about your pet, (very successful in giving meds), etc. I will do my best to keep their routine.

Care giving and housesitting
Linda accepted the house sitting position after our dog Leia had an emergency hysterectomy in January, She gave her love and attention at a very important time for her and dutifully followed her medicine routine. She also managed to walk her most days, weather permitting. She is not afraid to ask questions when necessary and takes responsibility by the "bulls horns". Thanks again,we appreciate your hard work and diligence and especially giving love, hugs and kisses to our very lovable girl, Princess Leia (assigned by grandkids of the mating pair). Fortunately, Leia has healed completely and runs around like a puppy again. She will care for the home and animals as if they were her own. Thanks and Peace!!

Great people and experience with them
Carl and Linda stayed in our home for a full three weeks while we were on the road for business. We primarily communicated with Carl as he was taking care of the dogs for the most part. He did a wonderful job and even managed to recapture our dog that occasionally runs away. He was a great communicator and they left the house in pristine condition. It's hard to leave for that long and not be stressed a bit about your place and they just took great care of home and two dogs. Highly recommend.

Linda and Carl are wonderful pet sitters
Linda and Carl are wonderful pet sitters who took excellent care of our two cats! Right off the bat when we first met her we got an excellent first impression. They are very warm and friendly and were great with our pets! When we came home after our holiday away our pets were relaxed and happy.

Carl and Linda: Super Sitters!
Linda and Carl were the best! Everything was perfect when we got home after our 4-week trip. Our cats were calm and happy, and the house was extremely clean and tidy. While we were away, Linda sent us regular up-dates and even some photos from home, which I really appreciated. She was even kind enough to leave us with one of her beautiful paintings, which hangs proudly in our dining room. I can’t say enough good things about them, and I recommend them highly.

Carl and Linda are home-sitting pros! We left our home to travel for a month and had never had a long term dog/house sitter. They were invaluable in helping us get on our way. They spent quality time with us ensuring they knew just how to care for our aging dog. They ensured our transition to the airport was stress free and that everything on the home front was taken care of. When we arrived back weary from a month of travel, we found an extremely clean house, fresh flowers, and Carl and Linda graciously exiting quickly so we could fall into bed. They intuitively knew just what we needed! And most importantly, our dog didn’t want to see them go. We could tell right away that they had loved and taken great care of him. Carl and Linda are fascinating, creative and kind people that I am so happy to now know, and will certainly want to meet again.

Carl and Linda are World Class house sitters
From mid-May to mid-June of this year 2022 Carl and Linda minded our house and our aged cat Emily. It has taken a while for Emily to get over their returning to their own home, as she grew very attached to them and their kind and loving care. Linda is a gifted visual artist and left us with several beautiful reminders of their stay, including a lovely colour portrait of Emily.

Carl and Linda, Both of them were fabulous with our golden doodle Leia and took her on lots of walks in the area, she enjoys her play time and walks of course. It's all of the little things that add up to a lot in the end; both of them treated the home and neighborhood like it were their own and that's really a special attribute few caretakers have. We just knew that when we jumped in our car for the airport that our precious dog and home would be well taken care of by two wonderful human beings. We were not disappointed. Linda is a very talented painter and painted a lovely realistic piece of Leia playing with her blue blanket and we recently put it up on a wall for others to see. They are very thoughtful, intentional and are kind,heartwarming souls,who are here to make planet Earth a better place by helping others. A big help is an understatement, we also house sit regularly in Oregon and know what commitment it takes to take on someone else's household and pet routines and do it without skipping a beat. Not only that, doing it with a smile on their faces. They are very positive people and that is also commendable. Carl even mowed my lawn when needed over the 5 week period and they both started my vegetable garden from seeds, which gave me a jump on the gardening year. Thanks you, thank you, thank you....A thousand thank you's isn't enough. We feel like we have friends for life, Don't be strangers, travel the World, take in the joy and be your true selves by giving peace, love, and wisdom to the World. Well done!
Carl and Linda Jones cared for our mini labradoodle Lucy for two weeks this summer. Lucy loved them both from the first five minutes and was soon sitting in their laps asking to be petted. She's a shy girl and doesn't take to everyone right away, so I knew these guys were special. It's important to note that our kitchen was undergoing a renovation even as we were walking out the door and even when I told them the kitchen sink and dishwasher might not be working, they were patient and committed. Those things did get resolved but I was impressed by their attitude of, we can make it work! Besides being just really good, ethical and hard working people, they are fun to be with. My neighbors enjoyed meeting them. I highly recommend them for taking care of your pets! Thank you Carl and Linda!

Kind, respectful and all-around nice people
Carl and Linda are genuine, kind, honest people. We would have them sit for us again without hesitation. They took great care of our home, including mowing the lawn and watering the plants, left it in immaculate condition, and most importantly were loving companions and guardians for our pup Ozzy. Exceptional people for an Unprecedented situation
What can I not say about Lynda and Carl. They were our first home stay sitters and after everything going crazy in this world with C19 while we we on vacation, they were strong pilars. Our home and dog were exceptionally looked after. When we arrived home, we all had to quarentine for 14 days and it was very scary for them as we were the ones who traveled. But we were able to give them our apartment suit so they didn't have to worry about being close to us and for peice if mind on where to go. They were to sit longer and stay in Canada but after C19, their home stays were not an option as everyone was not traveling. They are great at making the best of situations and their belief of being grateful to the universe makes them the perfect couple to tackle any situation. They are calm, friendly and fun loving. When this world opens back up to traveling, we want them back to our home and to take care of our dog. Thank you so much Lynda and Carl!

Couldn't be happier
We could not be happier with Carl and Linda, they were the perfect Pet and House sitters! From before their sit started they were friendly and engaging, wanting to know everything about our dog and the house. While we were away they kept in touch and provided updates. They took our dog, Zoe, to all her favorite parks and play spots to keep her happy, entertained, and healthy while we were away, and they took amazing care of our house and yard - going above and beyond raking and clearing leaves from the yard and more. We are extremely happy to have had Carl and Linda stay and would recommend them to anyone looking for sitters.

Courtenay - Vancouver Island home with dog and cat
Carl and Linda stayed at our home for 2 weeks in November 2019. Our cat and dog were very well cared for, and the dog well exercised. We came home to a clean and tidy house. We spent an evening with Carl and Linda before we left and they are very special and warm individuals. Carl and Linda = Best sitters ever!
Carl and Linda house sat for us for a month and it was the greatest experience. They kept in contact and sent us super cute pictures of our cats and them the whole time! They took wonderful care of our cats and apartment. When we returned the place was spotless and our cats were their regular happy selves. I would recommend them to anyone who asked. Wonderful people and pet lovers!
Carl and Linda stayed at our home for a week this summer. From the first communication, we knew they would be a great fit for our cat, Mendocina. We appreciated that they have a low-key lifestyle like us and were able to spend quality time with our kitty. They are kind, communicative, responsible, and friendly people. They sent us pictures regularly throughout the stay and made us feel at ease that our cat and home were well taken care of. We came home to a clean home and a happy cat. Great dog and home sitters
Carl and Linda dog and house sat for me for 10 days this August. They did an awesome job. They even taught my old dog some new tricks! Seriously! They taught him how to use a doggy door that he previously would not use. They watered my garden, took great care of my house and made friends with some of my neighbors. When I got home my house was neat and clean. They are very pleasant and interesting people who have really travelled all over. I enjoyed hearing some of their travel adventures. I would highly recommend them.

Amazing humans and caretakers!
I don't know if I can write enough about how great Carl and Linda were to our home and pets! We have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a herd of chickens (including 6 new baby chicks that hatched one week before Carl and Linda came). They loved all of our pets and would send us adorable photos of them while we were away. They each got brushed everyday and our dogs were able to get lots of love, attention, and exercise. Carl took care of the lawn and Linda took care of both our outdoor garden and indoor plants. We have a lot of plants and this did not phase Linda. She treated each as her own and our yard and indoor plants look better than when we left! After almost three weeks away, it was amazing to come back to a clean and loved home. They had vacuumed, oiled our butcher block countertops, and mopped the floors. To come back to a home that needed nothing done after a long day of flying was a huge relief. This is the first time we have used housesitters, and after our first ones fell through, Carl and Linda swooped in to the rescue. When we met them, they were so caring and attentive to all of the quirks of our home and pets. We would without a doubt have Carl and Linda stay in our home again. They are truly wonderful people who will love your home and pets as their own.
