About this sitter

I have a remote job, the flexibility to travel, and I enjoy animals and seeing new places. I am also a homeowner and have pets so I understand the importance of knowing everything is taken care of properly while you are away. I am also relatively handy and have been slowly restoring my historic house. I am looking for housesitting experiences that are short term because I have 2 cats and don't want to be away from them for a long period of time (well unless I can coordinate someone coming here). If there is a situation where it would be ok to bring them, then a long term stay would be wonderful.

Why they want to house sit

I would like the opportunity to see more places, have a change of scenery, and meet new people and animals. I am also considering a move so I would like to house sit in areas I am considering moving to.

Their experience

When I lived in Montana I helped my friend housesit and farm sit. I have done cat and dog sitting through and have animals of my own. I have hosted many people through Couchsurfing as well. Unfortunately, I'm just starting out with this site so I don't have any references yet. There are a few on and couch surfing...

What can they bring to the assignment

I am responsible and can problem-solve well if there is an issue with anything. I have had pets all my life and love animals.
