About this sitter

Hi! I'm a young professional looking to see what other places have to offer! Currently located in Vancouver, Canada, I like to try restaurants, hike and spend time cooking. I love long chats, exploring new places, and reading a good book in the sunshine.

The house I sit in would need reliable internet access for my work, but otherwise, I'm pretty flexible!

Why they want to house sit

I work from home in Human Resources for an animation studio and love what I do. Working from home offers some flexibility in where I spend my office hours and seeing the same four walls can get a bit dull, which is why I'm here! A change of scenery while helping out seems like a win-win for everyone :)

*Edit: Come January, I’ll need to be more local with shorter stays, as I’ll need to be in class every Wednesday evening!

Their experience

I’ve had a few experiences now with Trusted Housesitters. Everything has always gone smoothly (knock on wood haha) and the pets and homes I’ve looked after have been wonderful.

I'm also the go-to house sitter in my family. From short-term stays to month long adventures, I've always been the one to bring in the mail/newspapers, water plants, take care of the family dog when my parents were away, and do a quick dust/clean before the owners arrive.

What can they bring to the assignment

Other than a fun, cheery attitude, I can bring true reliability, good communication, and top-tier cleanliness. I can imagine leaving your home and/or furry family member with someone can be a worrying experience, but I'd like to reassure you I'd take care of everything as if it was my own and stick to any schedule that you leave with me.

As well, I grew up with dogs, so I’m familiar with taking care of them (as well as having a good cuddle). While I’ve never owned a cat, several of my friends do! Their relative low maintenance caring makes for a simple instruction that’s easy to follow!
