About this sitter
Hi, I’m Melinda. I love animals and they seem to like me too! My family and I have been the proud owners of a fluffy Corgi named Sadie and a tuxedo cat named Oliver. And we’ve happily cared for my mom’s felines over the years, sometimes for months at a time. Now that my kids are older, I’d like to travel a bit. And pet sitting would be a real joy! I can sit with cats and go take dogs for walks in the hills.

I’m good with pets. They bring me joy. I’d like to pet sit and see different parts of the country and the world at the same time.

Fantastic house sitter, would highly recommend
Melinda took great care of our home, dog and chickens in our absence. She checked in with us in a timely fashion for any concerns, and replied quickly when we had to let her know something we forgot. Everything was clean and organized upon our return home. Our dog was walked daily, and happy upon our return. She even took the time to make sure the hummingbird feeders were full! She pays attention to detail and cares for your home and animals. I would highly recommend her, and would be happy to have her return.

Phenomenal
Melinda just house sat for my dog, Otis and cat, Gizmo. I knew straight off as I was interviewing her that she was honest, a great person, and a pet lover. And I was right. She arrived and immediately my shy dog Otis took to her - that was a great sign. We walked through the house and pet instruction and Melinda was diligent in asking questions. When I left, I knew that my house and pets were in good hands. Throughout the sit, Melinda kept me informed with updates and photos! When I arrived back home, it was spotless and everything was in place - which amazed me! Not only that but Otis was happy and content, and Gizmo was asleep in his regular spot. I knew that all was well. Melinda enjoyed some aspects of the local area but yet took her house and pet sitting responsibilities first. When I say, she was by one of the top house-sitters I have had (and at this point, I have had seven) that is no lie. Phenomenal is the one word adjective to best describe Melinda. I would have her back tomorrow! Your pets and home will be in the absolute best hands! Robin
