About this sitter

Hi. My name is Lorna and I live in NL, Canada. I am retired and I love to travel but with the increase in ‘the cost of everything’, retirement is not exactly turning out the way I had envisioned. I spoke to a friend yesterday and she told me about house sitting internationally. And I immediately looked into it.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting is a wonderful opportunity to live with the local people and experience the culture and vibe of that area.

Their experience

I have been pet sitting with animals that don’t do well in kennels and such, and staying with them in the pet owners house. Consequently, I have experience house sitting locally. Also, I will be house sitting for the month of November 2026 in Liverpool, NS.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am respectful of people and their property, and I enjoy an organized and clean home. I will practice all the same safety habits and cleaning standards that I practice here in NL.
