We are looking for a responsible, clean and kind single person or couple to look after our beautiful home, garden and animals (preferably non-smokers).
We have 3 small/medium dogs, 2 cats and 1 horse so we would need people dedicated to animal welfare and their daily care including feeding and walking at least twice a day, as well as cleaning up any mess they do in the garden (using bags provided). You must have experience of looking after horses and be fit and active as it involves mucking out the stable every day, lifting hay bales and leading the horse out to the pasture which is next to the garden. We love our animals and we only want people who also love animals!
Keeping the house clean and tidy.
Caring for 3 dogs, 2 cats and 1 horse on a daily basis.
Making sure the house is secure at all times and kept clean and tidy. Watering the garden and doing some weeding.
Our village is located in a quiet, beautiful landscape with hills and mountains surrounding us and kilometers of unspoilt countryside to explore.
The house is in a good mobile phone reception area and we also have high speed Internet which means we can watch TV from around the world.
The house is centrally heated for winter and we have fans and a portable air con unit for hot summers. The house is clean, fully renovated, beautifully decorated and cozy especially at Christmas! It has all modern amenities including an electric cooker, washing machine and fridge freezer.
The village has a small shop which sells milk, bread, beer, cheese and meat 6 days a week and the local large town of Chirpan is only a 20 minute drive away. Here you will find a large weekly market on a Friday, supermarkets and shops for all your daily needs.
There is also the opportunity to visit the historical cities of Plovdiv (1 hour drive) and Stara Zagora (40 minutes drive) which are both stunning examples of Bulgarian cities full of culture, fine restaurants, historical buildings and Roman history.
They must love dogs, cats and horses and have experience of looking after them. They must also understand instruction in English. Be non-smokers or agree not to smoke inside the property or any of the outbuildings. They need to be physically fit. They need to know that temperatures in Bulgaria are truely seasonal so summers are very hot, winters are very cold (can get below freezing with the possibility of snow) and Spring and Autumn are ambient. The location is rural and there are no towns within walking distance so a car is essential. The locals do not speak very much English so some knowledge of the Bulgarian language is essential.
