About this assignment

I am looking for someone to mind my home and, most importantly, care for my pets while I am away in the summer of 2020 (dates to be confirmed). My house sitter will ideally be a good communicator, respectful of my home, with ample experience with cats and dogs, preferably senior pet experience.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

I have two older small dogs and a cat that will need care a few times a day -- breakfast, dinner, 4-5 walks/potty breaks for the dogs a day, and quality time.
I also have a few plants that will need occasional care but they are pretty low maintenance.
Otherwise, my home must just be occupied and kept clean.

What are the good features of the property and location

I live in a quiet area of South Philadelphia, close to Queen Village and Easy Passyunk areas (food, shopping, street festivities etc). I'm nested between two parks as well, one of which has weekly farmer's markets. Center City is accessible by walking, biking and public transit.
My home is a spacious one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment on the first floor in a small recently-renovated building. It is fully furnished, with high ceilings and large, bright windows. The kitchen is fairly large with new appliances. Additionally, there is a roofdeck shared with the neighbors that boasts a panoramic view of the city skyline.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

My animals are my main priority and their care and wellbeing is very important to me. I am looking for a true animal lover that is willing to care for them as if they are their own while they are living in my space.

While this is a first floor apartment, there are a few stairs to access the building so this space is not wheelchair accessible.
