Black Hills of South Dakota Prairie Solitude

About this assignment

I am looking for a responsible person or a couple who will take care of my animals and appreciate the experience of living in solitude while having many possible adventures in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

10 minutes of chores each morning and evening. Taking care of Buster, (the cat) and feeding Otto (the goldfish). Chores include filling eateries for chickens, feeding chicken and horses, collecting eggs and delivering to market once a week.

What are the good features of the property and location

My well maintained home offers relaxation and solitude. Within 20 minutes, you can be at historic Deadwood, Sturgis where the motorcycle rally happens each August, or Spearfish for groceries. Mount Rushmore, Devils Tower, Crazy Horse monument, Custer State Park and the Badlands are all easy day trips. Hiking / biking trails are plentiful with creeks/lakes to trout fish.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

I love my lifestyle here with the animals but I could use a break for my own adventures. Please consider 2 or more weeks. I am hoping for April, 2021. Also Sept-November 2021.
