Scottish girl who wants to look after your cute pets and enjoy a change of scenery!

About this sitter

I'm hoping to find a new city, town or village to experience solo! I am looking for a destination that isn't too difficult to get to from Scotland, I can work with a couple flight changes if needed. I hope to be accepted to look after your precious wee pets! It's a plus for me if they like lots of cuddles and walks, however if they are less social or more relaxed, I will still chat away to them and keep them well fed, entertained and spoiled (however often they're allowed treats and cheese that is)

Why they want to house sit

I need a change of scenery, to experience living a new environment even for a short while! The hotel I manage is currently closed for repairs and I am working on TEFL from home to keep busy, so why not do that while looking after someone's pets and home at the same time.

Their experience

I have looked after countless pets and house sat for two people without pets. If I could fit more than 10 photos you will know the extent of my experience! I have had pets in the past, looked after pets belonging to friends, family, family friends, neighbours and colleagues. I have looked after cats and rabbits also and still do regularly. I am a manager of a dog friendly hotel and often take the pups off the owners after the busy dinner service to take a walk or to give treats and cuddles :)

The black and white cat in my photos, belongs to a neighbour I have still never even met. This wee guy, we have called "Socks" comes over every night and sleeps in the room with me, free to leave whenever, but he loves to stay as you can see!

My close friend also owns a Shetland pony who lives close to my house, I often visit and feed him, brush him, feed him lots of hay and give him plenty nose strokes. Although, I am mostly looking for less rural places for now...

What can they bring to the assignment

So much attention! I have experience with animals who have just had surgery and need extra care. I have been told on countless occasions by dog and cat owners that they are shocked with how quickly their pets took to me as they can be very weary of strangers... I take that as the biggest compliment everytime! I love being outside and having a routine that works. I will play and engage with your pets and talk to them, even if English isn't their language haha. I will also look after your home and make sure all your expectations are exceeded :)
