About this sitter

We are a retired American couple. Chad is a retired lawyer and insurance executive (now doing some consulting) and Ann was a teacher and homemaker, and is now a certified Master Gardener. We are looking for the occasional home base for experiencing and exploring other parts of the world.

Why they want to house sit

We are eager to experience the world with a local perspective for a few weeks at a time, and we love the experience of home living. We are particularly interested in staying in London and Boston, where children and grandchildren live, but we are open to anything.

Their experience

We are not experienced house sitting in this context, but we do have a lifetime of experience owning and managing our homes. We are also experience world travelers, both for business and pleasure, so we are very comfortable in new cultures.

What can they bring to the assignment

We are a mature, responsible non-smoking couple, accustomed to the details of home management, and Ann's gardening skills can help in your garden while you are away. Our schedules are generally flexible, so we can often be available.
