About this sitter
Hi
We Mick and Birgit are an English -German couple. We are living in Germany in our house with a flower and herbal garden. Birgit had cats for 30 years. After Birgit retired and we are free to do what we love to do - travel. Housecaring gives us the possibility to be much closer to people, villages, landscapes and countries, than a normal traveller. Meanwhile we have some families, that are booking us again and again. One is having their holiday when we have time.
Why they want to house sit
We experienced the many contacts in our housecaring of owners and neighbours. Even when the housesit has been years ago- before Corona, we are still staying in contact. We have the feeling that we have now so many close new friends.
A perfect way to come around, and cuddle cats. Birgit loves cats in her bed. We can also take care for gardens and dogs.

We live in an own old house that needs a lot of caring. But Mick is a craftsmen and loves to stay busyand knows how to care for gutters, walls, gardens and of course the animals we love.
What can they bring to the assignment
We did now housecarings for 7 years. In many of the houses we have been now very often and are planning to go back again there.
Mick did housekeeping, gardening, plastering in England. I have been a teacher for special education and and am and have been in the leading group of several social clubs and a big bavarian sport organization. Mick did a lot of sozial work in England and Romania.
We are financially independent.

It was the second time Birgit and Mick took care of our cat army and once again everything went well. Despite the surprise of 3 newborn cats in our garden, they handle everything and cats were all fine when we came back. Wonderful sitters!
This was the 2nd time that Birgit and Mick looked after Conny for us and as before we cannot fault their care for her and our house. Despite each of them, in turn, being ill with a virus everything was well looked after, and on our return, the house was all clean and tidy, Conny was happy and healthy and we had fresh bread and a HUGE pot of vegetable soup waiting for us as they knew we would have been travelling all day, so thoughtful! I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending them for other assignments Thank you very much, Birgit and Mick, it was lovely to go off and enjoy our holiday with complete confidence.

Wonderful house and dog sitter
Birgit and Mick, a lovely couple, were the best dog sitters we could hope for Conny adored them and she was so well looked after she almost looked disappointed that we were back! The house was all clean and they had even got in some food for us. Can't recommend them enough and we would not hesitate to have them sit again, of we were lucky enough for them to be available.
