Consciousness animal lover looking to explore new territory.

About this sitter

I’m a single lady who had a farm in Wales for 18 years and am comfortable around most domestic animals, although I have to admit that I’m a big dog and horse lover. I owned cats but to be honest they much preferred to be outside hunting the land and only came inside when they felt like it.
I am relatively fit and love walking whilst exploring new places and feel that house sitting offers me the best of both worlds.

Why they want to house sit

I officially retired last year but prior to that I was working for a long established animal/house sitting agency for a number of years whilst also working as a part time carer.
This schedule meant I was pretty busy and I’m now looking to take things a ‘little’ slower and see a bit more of the world.
I love walking but so much better in the company of a canine friend.

Their experience

I qualified as a riding instructor many moons ago so am very comfortable around horses and large animals. I’ve owned and cared for a wide selection of breeds of dogs from Chihuahua to Irish Wolfhounds. My professional sits took me to a wide range of properties from Central London to those in sticks, either way I’m flexible in my surroundings.
My farm was also run as a B&B so I’m good at running a busy, clean and comfortable house with excellent visitor reviews.
I’m comfortable conversing with tradespeople or members of staff, caring for plants and gardens preferring to be outside than in.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am experienced at running a busy house. I am reliable and conscientious and can offer you reassurance that your pets and property will be in safe hands until your return with regular updates should you so wish.
