About this sitter

Hello my name is Sabrina Dhanoya! I am currently attending UC Davis. I am a political science major and hoping to pursue a career path in law. I have grown up surrounded by animals from dogs, cats, to even chinchillas. My current passions involve a variety of things like performing research for the government to reading a book outside on the lawn with my tiny dog Bubba, to working out a the gym and binge watching the new seasons of the Bear and Greys Anatomy on Netflix!

Why they want to house sit

I would love to house sit because I would love to explore the community and atmosphere of Napa Valley. I live in the Bay Area in the town of Hercules and would love to feel right at home. Whenever my family made spontaneous trips to India or Ireland it was always difficult to to find someone to watch our pets on such short notice, so I would be more than happy to help anyone who needs someone like me to upkeep their home while they are gone :)

Their experience

I have previously house-sat for Aunt who was out of town on business where I had to upkeep her home such as watering the garden/plants and taking care of her dog! I would water her hydrangeas/other flowers as well as pick the tomatoes from her garden. Most importantly I would not only ensure her dog was fed and hydrated, but spent quality time to make sure she was comforted and relax while my Aunt was away. From taking her on walks to around the neighborhood, to the dog park and even hikes we had an amazing time together once she had time to feel comfortable around me!

What can they bring to the assignment

I can ensure that I will be responsible, organized and mindful when taking care of people's homes. It is a sacred place for people and their families and I will make sure everything will be up-kept so they have nothing to worry about! I can garden, take care of pets, water plants, and any other required household duties!
