Quiet, friendly, good with animals

About this sitter

I currently work remotely for an international development organization. I have taken care of animals from large to small. Furthermore, I used to be a horse barn manager, and had Great Danes. I can handle all kinds of animals. Looking for a house sit, sometimes in DC it's a vacation without a vacation. Places that are in walking distance to public transportation. And if it involves pets, a list of emergency contacts.

Why they want to house sit

It's nice to feel like you have the comforts of home and can help people out. I like doing it just within my city, as my current apartment is not in the nicest location.

Their experience

I just house sat for a colleague for 2 and a half weeks. There was a small dog who got two shorter walks a day, and then a longer when I was one with work. There were also two lizards. I had two Great Danes which I could walk together.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am generally a very quiet person. I am very good with pets. But of course, I accept that some pets take longer to get used to, but I will give pets the best of care. I also try to be as tidy as I can and make sure the place doesn't look like I have been there as much as possible.
