Hi! I’m Skyla!
Since around 2018 l have been caring for pets and children on and off. I was a nanny for a long time and cared for the family pets as well. But I also pet sit through care.com and for friends, and I always feel like it's a rewarding experience. I treat each pet with individual, personal care. I'm patient with nervous dogs and shy cats, and kids and animals tend to like me after I've been around a little while :) I never try to force interactions and that tends to help the transition. While petsitting I got into house sitting and my friend actually recommended this website and I'm glad I joined because it's the best opportunity!

Why they want to house sit

I am an active 31 year old free spirit who's currently traveling and utilizing this platform for a place to stay while I see different cities to try and find where l'd like to settle down one day :) | enjoy hiking (I need at least one walk daily to feel my best-anything from a trail, to a neighborhood), dancing, yoga, people watching at cafes, exploring cities and nature (supporting local and leave no trace!), being around pets or animals, writing/reading (self development), astrology (spiritual-don't conform to one religion), and truly just living life and enjoying the little things (COFFEEEEEE) ;)

What can they bring to the assignment

I have been told my energy is contagious! I will fill your space with joy and play, as well as calm and peace! I meditate/move every morning with my coffee and will surly have your home feeling rejuvenated and cozy when you return. As I mentioned, I also enjoy respecting the home and making it clean and beautiful. Your pets will be well-loved on and be excited and happy for your return as well!
