What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

- put out the garbage weekly
- cut the grass as needed
- receive my mail and forward same
- communicate with local tradespersons on my behalf (e.g. exterior house painter, carpenter, electrician, plumber, etc.) as  and if necessary

What are the good features of the property and location

- garden setting
- a short walk to ocean beaches
- backs onto popular walking trails in old growth forest
- a short drive to the shops and restaurants and amenities of Qualicum Beach BC, a much sought-after retirement community
- very quiet and peaceful
- one small pet accepted

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

- housesit is for upstairs suite (must be able to climb 1 flight of stairs)
- sitter must have own car to access the benefits of living at this location
- access to lower suite is not available
