About this assignment

Take care of my horses on 4 acre horse ranch. Occasionally care for my poodle (maybe July and August). When I am traveling. Non smoking, clean and tidy, fit and healthy, reliable, experienced with dogs and horses. This position can start immediately with horse care staying in a 760 ft.² foot cottage on the property. Cottage has hot and cold water running water and a compost toilet..

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed animals. Clean fields and stall. Let dog in and out of house. This position can start right away with the horses and then include the dog when I’m away probably July and August.

What are the good features of the property and location

Beautiful idyllic small farm ten miles from the Delaware bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Plenty of restaurants and entertainment in the adjacent tourist towns, Lewes and Rehoboth. Retail and service jobs are plentiful. Cottage equipped with heat and hot water, long term caretaker pays for utilities…rent free in exchange for two hours labor/day.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Four acres is fenced, so Bella, my dog can be outside with out you, but she can not be left outside when you are away. No smoking. You need to have a car. This arrangement can be extended if you’re interested.
