About this assignment

We are looking for a housesitter to take care of our lovely home and  2 acres of land near the water for approx 12 months

 

We are only interested in house proud people please.

References from professional people are a pre requisite and checkable.Uptodate Police Checks required and copies of those and driving licences/passports taken.

 

Preferably middle aged people.

This is only suitable for a couple with no family and non workers.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The house is on 2.5 acres so a fair amount of gardening to be done..... Ride on mower, hedge trimming, mulching, clearing up of debrise from trees  i.e. leaves and bark .
Maintaining the internal of the property which is kept to a high standard.... cleaning windows. Cleanliness is a prime pre requisite.
No guests please, we have experienced this and unfortunately bitten badly.
 
We do have family and friends who live close by who do pop in from time to time and an internal inspection is done x 8 weekly.
 
 
 

What are the good features of the property and location

5 mins from Beaconsfield northern Tasmania, we are on the river Tamar.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We live in a hamlet so car driver is essential.
We do not have pets neither do we want pets here either please, although we are pet lovers.
We of course pay the rates... considerate usage of water aas we are on tank water and expect water under normal conditons to remain.
