About this assignment

I'm looking for a quiet, responsible, dog-friendly non-smoker who would like to spend some quiet time with my elderly dog at home, in the garden, or in the fields around the house. I hope to find someone for 3-4 day periods from April 2013 onward. My dates aren't fixed, so I could possibly fit in with your availability.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Keeping my small elderly dog company, including only very short walks.
Watering a few plants.

What are the good features of the property and location

Attractive cottage in quiet rural setting
Reliable, fast wifi
Very easy access, only minutes from the A48/M4 motorway
10-minute drive from a mainline railway station (I will pick you up)

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

My dog is low maintenance but gets terribly anxious without human company, so I need a dog-sitter who wants to spend their time at home or in the garden, such as a writer, student, person working online, TV addict, etc.

The nearest railway station is 5 miles away. If you have no means of transport, I'm happy to pick you up and take you back to the station.
