must have income. Single tenant preferred. There are no jobs in this area, so retired with pension is great. I want a tenant who has owned a home. Who understands responsibility.
One dog, a middle aged mellow heeler male. Limited solar power and water, with ten thousand gallon catchment. High tech eight panel solar system needs minor battery maintenance. Prefer a mechanical handyman who can fix things and understands living off grid. It's like living on a boat. Free utilities is fantastic, but you cannot abuse the the power supply, or the water.
Very isolated, quiet and private. Sunny and dry, occasionally breezy. Great views of coastline located at 900 feet elevation. Miles of rugged coastline to explore, fish, including black sand beaches, if you have a four wheel drive, quad, or similar, like the isolation, it's great. Only five minutes to P.O., three grocery stores, gas, etc., but it is a long monotonous, 90 minute drive to the city. Buses for a dollar. Ideal place for people that hate noise, love the Pacific, can afford living in the islands.
I would like to leave for at least six months to a year, and possibly longer if tenant works out. Hawaii is the most expensive place to live, so a good income is important. I don't want drunks or druggies. I would like to get 300 a month. People pay more than that for power and water alone, and I never had any luck offering a free place. I will keep it in an account, and if everything is the same way I left it, give a full refund. I prefer someone who has lived here before.
