Living in Paradise

About this assignment

We are looking for a trustworthy person / couple to look after our dogs “Rocky” & "Podi" and our house. You should love animals and be a hands-on person. If you are a “jack of all trades“. If you enjoy time the beach, gardening, sunshine, animals and a bit of spicy food you will love your stay here.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

About 10-20hrs per week. Look after our darling dogs, look after our house (the proximity to the ocean is challenging) , coordinate workers, keep us updated what’s going on. We welcome if you are hands-on and appreciate any help. There is a caretaker who lives on-site and who will do most of the cleaning and gardening, but he still needs some guidance.

What are the good features of the property and location

It’s directly by the beach. A little place in paradise. Great ocean views. Good Wifi connection. Swimming pool. Bus stop close to property (to go to Colombo or Galle). Famous tourist town just 5min away. Fresh fruits and vegetables in neighbourhood. Of course will have your own room and bathroom. Our wifi connection is available for your use to study / work or play. You will love the place.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Get free tourist visa on arrival, need to extend later (maximum 6 month per entry to Sri Lanka). Need to do some house work / gardening. We would like you to stay with minimum 3months.

Can I bring my own pets?
