About this assignment

We are looking for one or two women to assist in managing a property with a home (house is furnished), a fruit orchard and birds. Water and rent would be free and included in exchange as a caretaker.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The land needs to be maintained, the house kept up and the birds needs to be taking care of and can not be left unattended for any long periods of time. We are looking for people with experience or interest in organic gardening, tree care, land and birds management skills.

What are the good features of the property and location

The area is rural with great weather (NO snowing here). You can grow most of the fruits and vegetables you can do in the States except for those that needs cold climate. It is a quiet area, our neighbors are friendly, respectful and they are always willing to assist for any help we might need. Most people in the area are bilingual. Our town is Countryside, for those who are looking to relax at a beach house near the big city... this might not be the assignment for them. Non smokers and no pets.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Sitters will need to relocate to the Island, is a Tropical weather location and we are looking for a long term commitment.
