We're basically looking for a responsible single or couple to do light housework and care for our attention-starved mature cat while we're out of town.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Use whatever you like but take care of the trash, feed and love the cat and change her litter boxes, care for the yard in season.

What are the good features of the property and location

Humble little one-bedroom duplex with office - TV, Wireless Internet, very loveable cat. Home is located in a very quiet suburban neighborhood 10 minutes from Lake Murray and Columbia, SC. Columbia's a quiet city full of history, nature and art.

We're owners of a nearby café, so we'll leave gift certificates for food and coffee for you to enjoy while you're here.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

It is a small place but comfortable. We don't watch much television (mostly hulu) so we only have broadcast tv. There are stairs to the bedroom.
