About this assignment

We have a few vacation rental homes in a small quiet beach town in Brazil, we like to have people stay at the properties when we are out of the country just to keep an eye on things and maintain the pool, and cleanliness of the homes, so we have room for several people at different properties too. Live the dream, Learn Portuguise, write a book, paint a picture, practice Yoga in front of the ocean, you tell me... What's your passion?We have house sitters lined up till Nov 2013, so next we will line up Nov-Jan 2014 then Feb-April 2014 then May-July (world Cup) 2014... we have two of our homes side by side with 2 apartments, we will provide a 1 bedroom apartment, utilies, internet... we will need, 1 house cleaning per week, keep both pools clean, yards clean, pool area clean, and cut grass when needed. Also at times check in and out our guests at the main houses showing them around giving them keys ect...

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Keep the house clean, pool clean, water plants, a little yard maintnance cutting grass, lights on and off, email us letting us know how things are going from time to time, 1 house cleaning per week.... Enjoy Brazil
What we don't want... Parties at the house, local Brazilians at our house, unregistered guests on the property.

What are the good features of the property and location

Quiet safe area 1 hour drive from Rio, by bus 3 hours to Rio, walk to bus stop and shopping.
Beach, pool, feed the monkeys, piece and quiet, Internet

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

You must pay for your flight, some people might be required to get a visa it all depends on what passport you hold.
You would need to stay at the house the entire time, no leaving the house for tours of Brazil, day trips only... The map is not correct, the house is farther twords the ocean from where the map points out
