Lovely homes & puppy in the Santa Cruz Mountains

About this assignment

We are looking for someone to stay in our house and look after our little puppy, Ruby for two weeks from July 2-16, 2024. She's a Bichon Shih Tzu and will only be four months old when we're gone. She's super sweet and calm.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Just take care of Ruby, let her out regularly (but please go out with her as we're afraid a hawk will get her), take her for a little walk up the road and water the plants.

What are the good features of the property and location

We are only 10 miles from Santa Cruz and away from any sort of hustle and bustle. We are surrounded by the redwoods and have a lovely big back deck. Our house is an old cabin built in 1935 that has been built onto and raised. It's small, quaint and "mountain funky" :)

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Ruby is super easy and loves everyone. She's still getting the hang of going potty outside, so it's imperative you take her out every few hours.

Can I bring my own pets?

Yes
Restrictions: Small dogs only please.
