2 Kitties in Boston Home

About this assignment

I'm looking for someone who loves cats to care for my two, 2 year-old indoor cats, Ernie (orange) and Lucy (tortie). They're young and full of energy, so a sitter who wants to play with them is a must!

Lucy loves everyone but Ernie is skeptical at first. Play with him and you will earn his love!

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The triple crown: food, water, litterbox.
Food: feed wet and dry food in the morning and at night
Water: fresh water each day
Litterbox: we have two, they get scooped each day

We expect that you will clean up after yourself, outside of that there is no expectation of additional cleaning.

What are the good features of the property and location

We love our house and are sure you will too. We have plenty of space for chilling, cooking and WFHing. We have a sunny patio, a balcony, a parking spot, and a fully outfitted kitchen (I love to cook) including espresso machine. Not to mention natural light!

Our neighborhood is a slice of quiet paradise right next to the bustling city. Union square is a short walk which has excellent restaurants and shops (happy to give recommendations). If you like thrift stores, vegan/vegetarian food, international food, and biking, you'll love Somerville. We are also 0.3 miles from the T (subway system) which will get you downtown in 20 minutes for all the classic Boston sights.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We have space for a car at our house and street parking isn't widely available. If you go out, you will find parking at grocery stores and many establishments but not all. Luckily, you can walk to the T (Boston’s subway system), a large grocery store, and many restaurants all within 15 minutes.
