House/pet sitter needed for multiple short stays.

About this assignment

A reliable pet sitter with experience with a large, older dog, and an affectionate, older cat.

Caesar is an 11 year old alaskan malamute x golden retreiver. He does not know how big he is, and thinks he's only a small dog. He gets very excited around new people for the first 15/20 minutes, but after that will just want all the attention. He can no longer go for very long walks as his legs are starting to bother him. But he won't tell you that.

Luna is a 14/15 year old long hair domestic cat. Though she is the size of a kitten. She loves cuddles and pets. And will come find you and sit on you when you are already siting in not the most comfortable position, so you have to stay where you are until she decides she's ready to move. She can no longer jump, but will pull herself up on the couch and bed.she will not say no to you helping her get up.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feeding Caesar in the morning and evening and including his glucosamine tablet in both. Feeding Luna when she lets you know she has no food. Making sure both have fresh water. Taking Caesar out for walks, nothing too fast, and making sure to pick up after him on your walks. He loves going to new places, but is not the biggest fan of being in the car. Letting Caesar outside when he needs to go, and before bed. There is a doggy door to the back garden, but a utility door in between. Making sure Luna's litter box isn't too full. It will be freshly cleaned before we leave. As will the back garden.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in a 3 bedroom bungalow, and are only a 20 minute walk to the town centre. And there are 2 shops within a ten minute walk if you just need milk/bread. We live on a very quiet road, with friendly neighbours. We are only a 30/45 minute drive from the sea, and right near the motorway for easy access to other parts of the country.

As this is a family home we have everything you need for your stay. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven, stove.

We are non smokers so there is no smoking allowed in the house.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We need people for different dates, so that can either be the same person, or different people. And only for a max of 5 days at the moment. And there might be more dates thrown in later. (we're going camping)

This is a family home, not a show home.

Can I bring my own pets?
