This is not for pay--Absolutely reliable with excellent references--Ideal for a researcher (the Library of Congress is a 6 minute walk). There is so much to see and do on day trips within walking distance--we need someone here at night. Must get along with the other tenants and be organized, thoughtful, considerate and clean.
Look after my dog, water plants, share the space with two other tenants who will also occupy the house. The dog is an absolute priority, you must walk her twice per day for a minimum of 45 minutes and be available every night.
Too many to list this is Capitol Hill--we are walking distance to everything.
It is 2-3 blocks from Eastern Market. Less than 5 min walk to the bars/stores/restaurants of 8th St. Barracks Row and Pennsylvania Ave. 3 blocks to Lincoln Park. There are coffee shops, small book stores, a Marvelous Market and even an organic grocery store within easy walking distance—we get almost all our food at the farmers market at eastern market and the organic market. There is also a Safeway and Harris Teeter grocery stores 3 blocks away. One metro stop or a 10 min walk to the capitol building. Short 2 block walk to the metro (Eastern Market).
