About this assignment

We are looking for a mature, honest, independent practical person/couple to care for our home and section of 800 square metres, in our absence.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Our house sitter will be expected to keep the house clean and tidy;as well, mow the lawns with a push rotary mower. Our outside pot plants will need to be watered on a regular basis.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our home is comfortable with an open plan kitchen/living area that opens onto a private deck through bi-fold doors.The house is fully carpeted and insulated and is heated with a "Heat Pump". Our home is in an attrative rural residential subdivision where many of the residences are holiday homes. We are a few minutes walk to a  lake and about an hours drive to both huge Forest and National Park spaces.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Own transport would be essential.
