About this sitter

We are a retired German couple (teacher and executive secretary) with much interest in foreign countries and people. and now are free for new tasks. We are nonsmokers and are both very fit, active and young at heart.

Why they want to house sit

We see house sitting as an opportunity to live, temporarily, in different locations as "residents" rather than tourists. Having lived in the US for 9 years on an assignment (and renting a nice house) we enjoyed meeting different people and making new friends.

Their experience

We can carry out basic maintenance and pool care. George can repair almost everything and Chris has a green thumb and loves gardening and we like pets (had a lab for 13 years). We are well-organized, honest and trustworthy, can be relied on and would treat your home with respect and your pets with love.

What can they bring to the assignment

Being homeowners ourselves now for more than 30 years, we are sensitive people, used to caring for a property and dealing with any issues that may arise. We will look after your pets and home in all its aspects with careful attention to detail.
