Recycled Teenager

Hi,
My name's Kath.
I'd probably describe myself as a recycled teenager/domestic magician!
I'm Mum to 6 grown-up children, Grandma to another eleven and now a Great Grandma.
Originally from Preston, Lancashire, I've lived in the beautiful city of Norwich for over 30 years and have just retired.

Why they want to house sit

Too late for a gap year or even a mid-life crisis,I'm looking for adventure, exploring interesting places and meeting new people.

Their experience

Although I've been registered on this site for a few years, circumstances meant I have had a few house sits.
(Please don't let that put you off .........I've got plenty of common sense!)
My first was 2 1/2 weeks cat sitting near Mijas, Spain.
Looking after a cute cat in a delightful home in a beautiful location and meeting the neighbours was a very enjoyable experience.
In the summer, I looked after 2 lovely cats in Lincolnshire. Though not too far from home, it was an opportunity to explore a beautiful area I normally drive straight through and the owners made me so welcome.
Then I was lucky to have two consecutive house sits; looking after 3 adorable dogs in Chester and then 2 more equally endearing dogs in Derby.
My last sit was in Lanzarote, minding 3 dogs and a cat for a friend.
I can't wait for the chance to try somewhere new!

What can they bring to the assignment

I'm very resourceful and extremely organised - not much fazes me.
I'm a non-smoker, can fix most things and am pretty good at gardening.

I have 3 magnets on my fridge:
'There's no such thing as normal'
'Some days are a complete waste of make-up'
'You can't scare me, I've got kids'

That just about sums me up!
