About this sitter
Hi, we are Sue and Paul, a couple from the north of England. We are animal lovers and have experience with looking after an array of animals from dogs & cats to chickens & donkeys. We have had an allotment for the last 9 years and grow some of our own food, so we are also used to looking after and watering gardens. We will turn our hand to anything and are quite flexible. We both enjoy gardening , films, cycling reading

My 5 german shepherd rescue dogs loved Sue
Sue and Paul responded to an ad in 2019 to pet/house sit in 2020. Sadly, Covid happened all plans were put on hold. Sue was still keen, so came on her own in July 2023 for a few weeks (sadly Paul was not well enough to travel). My 5 german shepherds loved her! From the moment she arrived they bonded, which was a great relief! I knew they would be in great hands. Sue took great care of our dogs, I couldn't have asked for a more caring, loving pet/house sitter. My dogs are rescues and 4 out of 5 take daily medications due to various ailments, this seemed to be a little overwhelming at times for Sue but she managed well. I highly recommend Sue as a pet/house sitter, she may feel a little less overwhelmed in a household with 1-2 dogs without a number of ailments. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better pet/house sitter. Thank you, Sue, and I wish all the best with future pet sitting endeavors.

Sue contacted us from our ad for a 5 night 'sit', from the offset Sue was friendly, upbeat, informative and enthusiastic. From our initial decision to welcome Sue and Paul to our home, we kept in touch which was comforting knowing that our trip was always going ahead. During their 'sit' at our home they cared for our elderly 18yr old cat AND tended to our garden / vegetable garden / green house plants, which are all part of our business so this was crucial that we had the right person for the task, of which they both were. All positive things to be said about Sue and Paul and we hope they enjoyed their visit to our neck of the woods and we thank them for their help and also leaving our house immaculate. Till the next time we can coax them both back. Thank you.

Excellent house sitters
Thanks for looking after our guinea pigs and Grey the cat so well. I especially enjoyed receiving the pictures whilst we were away to see they were all happy and well fed. The house was perfect when we returned home. They even weeded the garden! Definitely above and beyond. Ideal house sitters and I hope they will return another time to look after our place. Kind considerate couple who keep you informed
Sue and Paul sat for us in Derbyshire, for our 3 dogs - 2 at 1 years old and 1 at 14 years. As we chose Sue a month before the sitting, she decided to text us weekly to reassure us that she was still coming. Sue and Paul are both very trustable, which was obvious when we met them and treated the house and our dogs with great respect. They messaged us every day with also a few photos to show that all was ok. The house was left in a lovely clean state. I would not hesitate to have Sue and Paul come and baby sit again. I was delighted that this site works and has encouraged us to continue using it.
