About this sitter

I love a good adventure! Designing and building my home on 8.5 acres 13 years ago was a dream come true. It taught me the importance of caring for land and property. I love travel and yet I prefer to stay in areas for long periods of time by chance to get to know the surrounding cultures. I am a great gardener and know how to care for the land and a home. I have experience in caring for cats, dogs, horses, goats, chickens, birds etc! I own a 100 acre organic farm with my 6 siblings and have honest, hard working Midwest values. I eat and cook very healthy food and am a non smoker. I am a self-employed artist, architectural designer and a thorough communicator. Your home and pets would be in good hands with me!

Why they want to house sit

House sitting is a way for me to travel and experience different cultures and environments. I'm curious by nature and love new adventures. When I travel, I like to go to the places that maybe aren't so populated by tourist and stay for awhile. I like to draw, paint and write about the places I visit.

Their experience

I am a very experienced and resourceful house sitter. As a designer and project manager and having designed and built my own home, I know properties and how to care for them - including off-the-grid homes. I grew up on a farm and know how to take care of many types of animals. I tend to be more even tempered about animals and build my relationships a bit slower than most. I’ve been told by various pet owners that their pets are particularly calm around me. I consider that a good thing.

What can they bring to the assignment

I think I've describe myself by answering the previous questions. In a nutshell - I am neat, clean, trust worthy, resourceful, a good communicator and I am kind. You can depend on me to care for your property and animals as if they were my own.
