About this sitter
From a young age I’ve been pretty determined to keep my life simple so that I was free to travel and pursue goals that were/are very dear to me. Almost 10 years ago I took a course to learn Spanish, which has come in very handy for some of my trips. While I love an adventure & new experiences, I have also discovered the secret of being truly happy wherever I am at the moment. Staying around town, relaxing and reading the newspaper is all just as satisfying.
Why they want to house sit
I enjoy house sitting because it allows me to travel, see new sights, meet new people and become familiar with various cultures. When pets are involved in the house sit it's a plus because I love animals, especially dogs.
Their experience
I am experienced. I was part of of a volunteer roofing & siding crew as an assistant for 10+ years that I loved. I also owned my own cleaning business for 11 years which proved to be very successful. As far as pets go, I had an adorable but very mischievous miniature pinscher named Roxy. She passed away a few years ago but definitely left paw prints on my heart.
What can they bring to the assignment
I pride myself in being responsible & organized. I am a non-smoker, don't abuse alcohol and have a very laid back personality. A home is someones investment. I can provide you with peace of mind in knowing that I am Mary Poppins when it comes to house cleaning. Pets are furry family members that need to be cared for & loved- a responsibility that we had for 12 years.

Amazing house sitter
I cannot recommend Diana enough. All of our animals were happy and healthy, and I have never seen someone so invested in building relationships with them before. The house was cleaner than when she arrived, and she regularly checked in with us while we were gone so we did not worry at all.

Wonderful Pet Sitter
Diana arrived at our home in plenty of time before we left on our trip, which gave us time to know our fur babies were in great hands. We got constant updates and photos from Diana which gave us the peace of mind to relax and fully enjoy our vacation. Upon our return the house was immaculate and our babies went looking for her after she left. We now consider Diana a friend and would love to have her back. We cannot recommend her highly enough.

Excellent house and pet sitter
We can’t say enough wonderful things about Diana. She sat for us and watched our pigs, chickens, bees and dog. Everyone is in great shape, and she left the house is better shape than we left it for her. Diana was an excellent communicator, from before her arrival through her entire time at our home. Our home was ready for us to transition right back into, with clean sheets on the bed and the table set for our return, too! We would love to have her back here anytime, in fact, the pigs I think keep looking for her!

Rock Star
Diana went above and beyond the call of duty on this house sit. She arrived just after a snowstorm, which in Portland pretty much shuts everything down. Our garbage service got canceled the week after Christmas and pushed out a week so we had tons of trash that needed to be put out curbside while we were away. Diana jumped right in without a complaint like a rock star! Got lots of updates on our parrot and Great Dane along with some great pics. She followed my crazy instructions to a T and left the property in better shape than when she got here. She's a great person and we would recommend her to anyone and definitely love to have her house sit again.

Diana was delightful to deal with from the beginning and her communication and attention to details were outstanding. The dogs were well loved and walked and the house was cared for with good attention. We did not worry at all while we were away and got a nice midsit update. Would highly recommend her and would love to have her back!

Reliable home sitters
We were so lucky to have found Matt and Diana to keep an eye on our pets and home while we went on vacation. We felt very comfortable with them instantly. Everything went well and we came home to a clean house, happy animals, and cut flowers from the garden throughout the house. We would have them back anytime.
