About this sitter
Thank you for taking the time to review my listing. I'm a former arts and humanities instructor with a Master's in Art Therapy. I have a passion for nature photography and hiking. I love the forest and the stillness it provides. I occasionally conduct public talks on "Photography as Meditation" and related topics during my travels. I prefer housesitting assignments in quiet homes that support contemplation and reflection.
My quiet presence is calming around pets—especially the shy and timid ones. I've become very fond of the pets I've cared for. Most of my housesitting assignments have been a month or longer, but I am open to shorter assignments. I have excellent references that I will provide at your request.

We happily recommend Nancy for housesitting and catsitting.
Nancy looked after our house while we were away for two months and we returned to find the house just as we left it. Everything was well looked after, including our very high maintenance cat. In fact, he seemed to have gotten along very well with Nancy and was happy as could be. Nancy is very conscientious and she reached out any time there was a potential problem. From the very start, in fact, she was an excellent communicator and helped make the entire process go smoothly. We happily recommend Nancy for housesitting and catsitting.

Reliable, Responsible and Resourceful.
We have been fortunate to have Nancy house sit. She has been extremely reliable and has helped resolve some serious issues such as a broken gas line and a leaking refrigerator water line. We have two cats, a turtle and several house plants to which she has been very attentive. She is also outstanding in keeping the house clean. Nancy has been house setting for us over the last three winters and I’m hoping she will be available to sit for us again next winter. I highly recommend Nancy!
