About this sitter
Hello, we are Gary & Lesley, we have been retired in the seven valleys region in Hauts de France for several years. Visiting London area, M25 corridor of the UK is interesting to us, as we have family & friends in this region.
We are also available for European assignments as we live in Northern France.

Perfect House Sitters!
When you decide to look for a suitable house sitter there is always some trepidation. Will they be kind to our animals? Will they look after our home? Will they keep in touch? With couldn't have been happier with Gary and Lesley. We arranged to meet over Zoom prior to use going away and we were very pleased with what they were saying. They arrived after we had already left for our holiday but my daughter and son did the hand over, which worked well. Prior to us leaving I sent some videos over WhatsApp so they were familiar with the house, animals and area before arriving. Whilst we were away they sent us videos and photo updates on walking the dog and the cat chilling on the sofa which we were delighted with. When we arrived home the house was spotless and very well cared for. The animals were happy and relaxed! When you find great sitters its a real pleasure and we were delighted with Gary and Lesley and how well they held the fort whilst we were away. Delightful house sitters
We are very lucky that Lesley & Gary were available to sit for us at short notice. We had clear and excellent communications with them prior to and during the sit. They arrived the night before our departure to settle in. They instantly instilled confidence. They are kind, calm, capable and organized. They sent us messages and photos while we were away and we knew our two cats were cared for and relaxed. They left the house spotless and with thoughtful touches for our return. We hope that they will return to sit for us again soon.

Great house sitters
Lesley and Gary are kind, calm and capable sitters and I would recommend them. They dealt with everything, including helping the older cat by sorting out a separate feeding routine from the other two and by giving a repeat flea treatment, which can be required at this time of year. They cut the grass, left the house tidy and even left a really nice Thankyou for me when I got home. No fuss, diplomatic and very helpful sitters. Thanks again so much.

Highly recommend this perfect couple
Lesley and Gary have many positive comments from other testimonials and I totally agree with them. They are a friendly and helpful couple. They are easy to get along and to have conversations with. They sat for us for two weeks and the dog had his walks twice a day. He was pampered! The house was clean and tidy upon our return. Even cleaner than we left it. It was such a lovely surprise. Lesley even made a delicious pasta dinner for us. I hope they will come back to visit us again. :)

Exemplary House sitters!
Lesley and Gary responded to a late call to look after our cat and garden after we were let down by someone with whom we had previously agreed the sit. An exchange of emails and couple of Zoom calls provided reassurance that they were experienced, competent and trustworthy. And so it turned out! They were kind enough to send an occasional text, confirming continuing health and well being of tomato plants and cat. On returning, the house was, rather embarrassingly, tidier and cleaner than when we left. Thank you! I can whole-heartedly recommend Gary and Lesley as top house sitters. If you are considering them, please feel free to contact me for further endorsement. Just one word of advice: ask them not to leave behind any chocolate profiteroles in your fridge: one of us (ok, me) has developed a serious profiterole addiction....

Reliable, friendly and kind
We met Lesley on the first night and she settled in really well and got on with Bottle the cat straight away. Gary arrived the next day so we didn't meet him, but I know they were making the most of their UK visit to catch up with family. They kept in contact, dealt with all our various requests re asthma inhalers and hot water bottles for the cat... and when we got home it was spotless: I wonder if the cat realised we had left!! I'd recommend them to you all.

Brilliant house sitters
Lesley and Gary recently looked after our house whist we were away for three weeks. On our return everything was immaculate including the garden which looked better than when we went away. There were lots of seedlings to look after and keep watered and they all survived a hot dry spell of weather because they were carefully looked after. They were thoughtful,extremely well organised and kept in regular contact and i have great pleasure in recommending them to other home owners.

Highly recommended
Lesley & gary looked after my home and cat for two and a half weeks and did a brilliant job. Harvey was very well looked after (in fact I suspect he preferred them to me) and they rescued my pots on the patio from drowning. They were clearly very reliable and looked after the house very well, leaving it spotlessly clean (which was lovely to come home to) and a clear list of messages which was very helpful. Harvey and I are both hoping they will want to come back.

Lesley and Gary - highly recommended!
Lesley and Gary house sat for us for two weeks in August 2017, looking after our house, garden, young dog, two cats and the chickens. They were very organised in sorting out arrangements for the house sit, and when we met them to handover we felt very comfortable leaving them with the house and pets while we went away. They were lovely with our young dog, who was best friends with them by the time we left an hour later! As well as dealing with the dog, they were kind enough to give an elderly cat her medicine twice a day, and clean out the chicken bedding. When we returned all the pets were happy and relaxed, and the house was very clean and tidy. We were delighted to have found Lesley and Gary to house sit for us, and would gladly have them back!

Lesley & Gary are an ideal, reliable choice!
Lesley & Gary came to look after my big black boy (somewhat grey these days), a bright and enthusiastic collie/lab cross. It was clear that Rolo had a wonderful time with them whilst I was away, feeling that they were worth introducing into my favourite cafe by dragging Gary inside (could be to do with the dog treats Rolo knows can be found in there!). Lesley & Gary looked after my home, garden and most precious possession and I would be delighted to welcome them back again. I would highly recommend them to look after your home.
