With 35 years of house and pet sitting experience, I bring a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication, and genuine love for animals. I’m self-reliant, self-sufficient, and very comfortable maintaining gardens, houseplants, and outdoor spaces.
I have 10+ external references, including recent house-sitting assignments in Honolulu, Lanikai, Kailua (O‘ahu, Hawai‘i) and St. Croix (U.S. Virgin Islands). I’m happy to provide telephone contacts upon request.

Beach house sit on the Mexican Caribbean Susan was GREAT
Susan was an amazing house/ property sitter, She was with us for 2 months September and Ocotber and seemed always to be happy and relaxed with a laid back attitude which is so important when on a beach sit during the tropical weather that comes during October. She was so fun to work with! And very handy which is important in this part of Mexico. Dicey and kitty loved her and they were sad to see her leave. She cared for our pool and the property well and it was appreciated. I HIGHLY recommend her for anyone with a home in a semi remote area, she speaks Spanish well and was always doing something because she likes to be busy another blessing to us the owners. Above & Beyond Housesitter
I couldn’t possibly say enough about Susan’s housesitting skills and personality plus’s. She is a housesitter extraordinary; skilled gardener, handyman, cleaner, organizer, manager, swimming pool maintenance person, pet lover, communicator, lawn care person and all around amazing person. I should add plumber, too! Our refrigerator ice waterline broke (more than once) and was spraying water everywhere and she went to the hardware store, bought parts to repair it and fixed it! Wow! She took loving care of my beloved fruit trees, researched bug issues and treated and cared for my lime, lemon, mango and papaya trees. Our yard has never looked better. She cleared out palm tree fronds that I had battled for years. My husband said we’ll have to step up our game because our yard looks so much better now than before we left. Oh, she also helped me with some banking issues, so add accounting to her skills. And she took care of my car and took care of oil change maintenance that was due, add car service sitter to the list. She was personable, attentive and communicated in a timely manner. She met several of my girlfriends and they adored her. My house was cleaner and tidier than I left it. My window were cleaner than I’ve ever gotten them. I always seem to leave streaks. We don’t have pets at this moment, but she helped a friend with caring for an aging, ill dog so I’m sure she’s an amazing pet sitter also. I’m not sure what else I can say. I would ask her to housesit again in a heartbeat. I think anyone would be more than lucky to have her. I am so grateful to have had her stay in our home!!

Best sitter ever
If Susan wants to housesit for you, you're in luck. She is a perfect sitter. She looked after everything, fixed things, made local contacts to get things fixed. She noticed my cat was sick and took him to the vet. She dealt with a large black scorpion in the house. She took my car to the mechanic and dealt with its quirks. She speaks fluent Spanish and is an excellent communicator, sent photos of the house and the cats. I asked her several times if she would stay longer, but she had another commitment. Very very highly recommended.

Susan..the Best house sitter!
You will be very lucky to have Susan for your house/petsitter. She recently took care of our four cats as well as some ferals who live outside. She communicated with me regularly while we were away and sent photos, which is always reassuring. I felt very secure knowing my pets were in safe loving hands. We were also fortunate to be able to meet Susan the day before we left for our trip and we were impressed. She is a thoughtful, clean, kind person with a passion for travel and deep love for animals. Your pets will LOVE her! She left our house immaculate. We would love to have her back when we travel!!!
