About this sitter
Hi there, I’m Juliet, a retired accountant from the UK who has discovered the wonderful world of house sitting. I just love it for the variety of different people, places and animals I’ve had the pleasure to get to know.
Why they want to house sit
I love my home, but also it is fun to go to new places and meet new people (and animals of course! )
Their experience
I have done over 50 sits through this and other platforms, from rural fincas to city apartments, and looked after all sorts of animals including goats and donkeys and of course cats and dogs
What can they bring to the assignment
I have a cat of my own and understand how comforting it is to know that she is being well looked after by people I can trust while I'm away. I'm looking to provide similar reassurance for others when they are away and understand what a privilege it is to be trusted to take care of someone's home.

Juliet completed her zillionth sit for us
Juliet completed her zillionth sit for us!! (Well almost) it is now just a friend coming to stay and look after our cats, (at which she excels !!) we have had a few animal changes since she was last here, but she took it all in her stride, as I expected. Pepa, our latest rescue had had quite a traumatic time but she quickly settled into the routine. She also, very thoughtfully, bought some fruit for our breakfast, as our food delivery was not due until after breakfast. As always, I can highly recommend Juliet, organised and loving with your pets and a very nice person.

It was a pleasure to have Juliet look after our dog Dylan while we were away for 3 nights and I would happily recommend her. Communication was great prior to and during the sit and Juliet updated us daily with photos of walks with Dylan. She left our home very clean and tidy. It was obvious Dylan enjoyed spending time with Juliet from the moment they met. We would welcome Juliet back in our home anytime.

Juliet was an excellent sitter. She was so loving towards the dogs and took them on lots of adventures during the sit. She was excellent at communicating and sent daily photos and videos. She cared very well for the house which was clean and tidy on my return. I would recommend Juliet to anyone, she was a great sitter.

Without a doubt, julliet Is 150% trustworthy, also fabulous with all the dogs. Even my wild rescued chihuahua, loved her...I can't recommend her highly enough, and hope she can return. My house was also spotless, what more would you require???

Juliet has sat for us sooo many times that I have run out of superlatives
What more can I say? Juliet has sat for us sooo many times that I have run out of superlatives! Her care of my cats is second to none. Now our older cats have gone to the Rainbow Bridge, we have only two official young cats and two young “campo cats” outside which were looked after very well. The house was clean and tidy when we returned. She is honest and can be relied upon. I can recommend her wholeheartedly!

Best house- and catsitter ever!
Juliet was so kind with the cat (Kittycat loves her), so respectful and tidy with the house, the plants, everything, it was impressive. Juliet handled everything in an independent way, no complaints from her side, she just managed everything. Apart from that Juliet is such a sympathetic, calm and friendly person, it is rare nowadays. I fully trusted her with everything. I came back after a week and she had left her house in an even better state than before. The plants looked great, the pool was clean. Days after her departure Kittycat was still looking for her, going to "her" house regularly and looking at me., asking where Juliet was. What better testimonial than that of your cat? Juliet will come back later this year and I am very happy about that!

Juliet was amazing
Juliet was amazing. Very capable with animals and a friendly kind disposition to boot! Bobby loved his time with Juliet and our flat was left in perfect shape. We would have her back in a heartbeat.

Juliet as usual was brilliant
Juliet as usual was brilliant! She has sat here so many times that she is like “Auntie Juliet” to the cats and they love her!! We come home to chilled cats, who don't seem to realise that we have been away! We get photos and updates when we are away and the house is always as clean and tidy as I left it. Another successful sit

Juliet is amazing
Juliet is amazing! We needed someone to look after Malbec (our cat) at short notice and she really helped us out. It was the first time we had used the site and so we were a little nervous, but Juliet put us instantly at ease when we spoke to her on the phone and made it effortless. Juliet is very warm, personable and sent us regular updates and messages, Malbec also seemed very happy when came back. We would not hesitate in recommending her, she really is a great sitter.

Juliet has sat for us quite a few times and the animals love her. This time we had a new nervous kitten who quickly fell in love with her too! We have no worries when Juliet is sitting for us. I felt so fortune to have Juliet take care of my dogs - with her wealth of experience and warm, friendly personality I felt perfectly at ease going on holiday knowing someone capable and responsible was taking care of my home and beloved ( high energy!) dachshunds. Juliet was communicative throughout regarding dog care and home care, the dogs loved her and house was pristine on my return. Couldn’t have asked for a better person for the job
Juliet took care of our ‘zoo’ of 5 cats and a rescue dog for a week whilst we were on holiday and we couldn’t have asked for a better person for the job. Anyone who knows Devon Rex cats will be familiar with their extremely affectionate, but also very demanding nature (I’m not going to lie, our feline friends are very spoilt and that’s how we like them to be). Not only did Juliet have to look after the cats, give them daily medicines and clean one’s eye but she also had to look after our very timid rescue dog Sasza. Before her sit Juliet made the effort to visit us twice so she could spend most of the day with us getting to know Sasza’s routine and to meet our lovely friend who helps us with dog walks when we are at the office. As he was rescued from the streets of Ukraine in 2020 having endured a terrible time he finds it extremely difficult to trust people. It was paramount for us to find the right person who could understand his needs and mindset. We were extremely lucky to have found Juliet who provided us with daily updates and it was amazing to see that as the days went by Sasza and Juliet started to form a real bond. From the first time telephone conversation it was apparent that Juliet is a real animal lover who will do anything to ensure that any pets she looks after are provided with the best possible care. The house was left spotless and Juliet bought us fresh flowers and some groceries to ensure our fridge wasn’t empty on our return. I have no hesitation to recommend Juliet as an exceptional sitter and truly hope she’ll look after our zoo again in the future.

Juliet has sat for us several times, which in itself says a lot. She is so caring with our cats and took the time and trouble to get the complicated feeding routine just right, including a chart to ensure every cat was fed morning and evening. We had a problem with the new front door and Howard oversaw the repair when the engineer arrived. We were coming home from holiday with friends who were staying on for a few days and Juliet volunteered to wash and iron the bedding and remake the bed for me which was a great help. The house was clean and tidy, the garden, including my precious geraniums, was well looked after and blooming and of course best of all our cats were happy, healthy and well looked after.
