About this sitter
We are a very internationally experienced couple who are published authors and teachers. Annie is a Neuroscientist with PHD from Oxford. John is a former sea captain and shipowner. Both of us changed direction in our lives after many years of striving! We discovered a teaching which resonated with us and transformed our life experiences. We became students and teachers of this discipline known as A Course In Miracles. We are very peaceful, non smokers and alcohol free. We travel the world undertaking our writing projects and enjoy mixing with the various Nationalities in the Countries we visit.
Why they want to house sit
We find inspiration in warmer climates than our homeland of UK in Winter although we enjoy short periods in the winter and we enjoy looking after people's properties and pets as though they are our own.
We enjoy mixing with new people and make excellent neighbors as our references show.
Their experience
Both of us have lived all over the world and often in other peoples properties. We have a lot of experience with house sitting assignments from this site with great references.
What can they bring to the assignment
A lot of tender loving care for the property, pets and contents. Great neighbourly attitude and one set of 'green fingers'! Wherever we tend to travel, people seem rather keen to know us. Peace and calm and an ability to handle any so called 'problems' in a responsible and calm manner.

Delightful responsible, couple.
Annie and John were with us this year for a six week period. Immediately they fitted into our family and were very easy to get along with. We felt very secure leaving the in charge of our large property and care for our aging yet energetic springer dog. They kept in touch while we were away and were always eager to help wherever possible . we would be delighted to have them stay again if they wished and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a house sitter. Great House sitters
John and Annie housesat for us for two weeks over New Year and did a great job, not only did we come home to happy animals that had been well cared for with plenty of love and attention they had also left us stocked up on wood for the fire, groceries and a lovely bottle of wine and a box of chocolates. It was so nice to be able to come home and relax after a long journey.. We would definitely recommend John and Annie and would be happy to welcome them back in the future if they wanted to return to our home..

House and dog sitting over christmas and new year
John and Annie came and took over the house and our dogs for that period. I cannot recommend them enough. The dogs had wonderful care , the house was looked after and they were thoroughly reliable and hope that they enjoyed our house too. thank you both

Finca in the North of La Gomera
Lovely people with very good hands for our animals,donkeys,dog,cats,fish and a lot of free living chicken.The old dog needed intensiv observation. No problem with the rustic situation in the mountain. Able to drive off-road. Always in a good mood.
