About this sitter
We are a retired couple from Australia looking to spend time in different parts of the world. We are both fit and active & have good 'handyman'/house keeping, catering skills. We were teachers, but also have had forays into the business world, running country hotels in NSW & Queensland.
We are willing to look after & maintain homes anywhere

Have looked after friends & family homes; have house sat in Turkey (June 2015 -August 2015) & Somerset, U.K. (May 2016); booked to assist in looking after a chateau in Brittany in June/July 2017.

Good DYI skills - have built our own home as owner builders & renovated several others.
Can run businesses such as pubs, B&B's
We live on 25acres & are used to farm animals. Currently have no pets of our own, but have our neighbours dog with us on a regular basis

We LOVE Jacky and Trevor!!!!
Having Jacky and Trevor with us this last summer was an absolute delight! They are both such high energy, joyful people...yes, Trevor, even you with your dry sense of humor! They gave 200% in anything they were asked to do at the Le Mur estate, Trevor doing amazing, meticulous work our putting cornices in our caretaker's apartment, was just one of the many tasks he did while at Le Mur. And watch out for whirlwind Jacky! She gets the job done and always with a joyful smile on her gorgeous face! From helping us prepare apartments to greet guests, to literally climbing the walls of the Chateau to scrape centuries old paint, moss and residue off the stone! I would LOVE them to come back any time they chose, and trust them completely! Consider yourself blessed if they agree to come to your place to help out!
