About this sitter
Responsible, mature American couple from the San Diego area available to care for pet(s) and house-sit your house, condo or apartment. We are a non-smoker, non-drinker (& no drugs), low-key, friendly couple looking for an experience to add to our retirement enjoyment.
Why they want to house sit
We love taking care of surrogate pets in their own homes. Then we work in our own travel around our sit schedule while we visit family and friends.
Their experience
We are a good choice for your animal(s) and home because we will take care of everything as though it were our own. We have experience with caring for houses, pets (Cats: Mostly rescue...Tabbies, Maine Coon, Balinese; Dogs: Labradors, Miniature Husky, Hokoni; Chickens: up to 12 at a time; Tortoises, gardens and pools.
What can they bring to the assignment
Along with daily care, exercise, feeding and loving of our surrogate pets, we have also administered medicine and prepared special meals. As property owners ourselves, we are very handy in doing repairs and maintenance or supervising outside workers. Let us take care of everything while you are away so you have one less thing to think about!

3 weeks in Ajijic, Mexico
Debbie and Chip housesat for us in our home in Ajijic, Mexico for 3 weeks in July 2018 for our two pets - a 4 year old active dog and one lazy aging cat. They communicated reliably with us with photos and email communication about the well being of our animals while away. We returned to a home that was well taken care of and what a delight to find some delicious banana bread on our kitchen counter upon return. Thank you for your care of our precious little beings!
